We had a pet crawfish when I was a kid – different species, I presume, since ours was a blue-grey east coast crawfish. He was part of the menagerie we brought with us when we moved from Quebec to BC; a dog, a cat, 3 guinea pigs, and Rollin the crawfish (we caught him in Rollins Pond, NY). He was a great pet – nicely aggressive and willing to attack anything that ventured into his territory, including bubbles from the aerator.
Great pics; my favorite is the crawfish.
When I went to an aquarium with my cousins in CA they yelled at me for saying starfish. apparently they’re “SEA STARS” now, since they’re not fish. just fyi. lol.
