What are you playing?

Not like I need more distractions . . .

I bought a little black book. It’s for writing down ideas pertinent to a particular story I have in mind. I’ve lost track of how many such little books I have lying about, each with a few handwritten pages, stories I’ve long since forgotten. It’s fun to reread these (not) and wonder what on earth I was thinking about that made me think it was worth 2 to 5 dollars to buy that book.

Anyway, I keep meaning to write the word nephilim down in my little black book, but I am distracted.

I am distracted by Bubble Spinner. It’s at the top of my frequently visited list, beating out gmail and even xHamster. Yes, I would rather toss colored bubbles around than watch xHamster. Where are my priorities?

So what distracts you?

D.

Completely prosaic – sudoku. I do a puzzle is around 10 minutes, which means that every 10-15 minutes I have a chance to stop and go do something else… Used to be mah johngg, but then my husband took the laptop that had the program when he moved and I’m not going to get the program on my laptop, since I know it’ll be one more way to keep from doing what I need to do.

    Torchlight.

Jeez, hope I formed that link right.

I also have books, but not too many. I mostly put my ideas into a single massive file that now resides on Google Docs. The conspiracy minded among you will quail at my cavalier exposure of my ideas to mysterious new world order google dudes.

    That Bubble Spinner… it’s evil.

Right now I’m just reading. Somehow I’ve gotten myself sucked into some of those 1 min games on facebook. Wow, they suck back 15 minutes sooooo easily!

Podcasts. I just click and listen to tons of stuff all day and eventually some it gets absorbed into the walnut. I think it’s like subconscious Clavenism.

    Then there’s Bejeweled.

Yeah, Bejeweled is another one of my wife’s obsessions.
