Bonus points to the first person who recognizes the title of this post . . . no fair googling.
This is the last call for the 75er Contest. Needless to say, I’ve been lazy and I haven’t checked to see if each and every story is 75 words. You’re all on the honor system.
This time tomorrow, I’ll close the contest and begin soliciting votes. Hope y’all have had as much fun with it as I have!

We voted today. Check your counties, folks, because many ofรย ’em offer early voting, and this year the lines will be tremendous. You think turnout was crazy in ’06? You ain’t seen nothing yet.

Give up?
One of my most favoritest songs from college (stored away in my mind with all those other most favoritest songs from college):
Done. Voted last week when Russ Feingold was in town. ๐
i’m going to vote on election day. no car most days, and i have no idea where this damn county has its early voting locations. i’d vote tomorrow if i could though. the more votes in the bank for mr. obama the better, no?
in re your comment on my blog – uci has a medical center. i’ve visited their er a couple times (most recently in ’00… for a hideous case of mono, believe it or not), and i still got a bill. i have nothing but love for that place though, so anything at all you’d do would be vastly appreciated by me.
Our daughter’s already voted at college, but we’re voting on election day. I can’t imagine that our lines will be all that long in a 600 person town. ๐
