Well, that was something of a whirlwind, the live chat. Neo had a god time, but her exuberance got a little out of hand. Sorry if she ticked anyone off. She’s really in that phase of learning the ropes of acceptable behavior. She’s got that down in person, but in writing and internet, whoo, she’s got a ways to go.
Ah, seventh grade. When we all fit in and knew exactly what to do.
One piece of advice: don’t tease Neo about her name. If I can judge these things by my son’s reaction, kids are VERY sensitive about their names. Must be even more acute if the name is unusual, like Neo’s.
I’m not sure it was completely abut her name — she was annoyed at me for continuing a lame joke more than anything. I asked her about it this morning. She said that mostly she was surprised at how annoyed I got at her for swearing. It was a weird mother-daughter moment, that’s for sure. Ah well.

Nonetheless, it was fun. If distracting.
No ticking off here, Suisan, none at all. It was fun. And anything that keeps us off the topic of figging has to be good.
Nice photo, BTW, Doug. So many possible stories …
No problem, Suisan 🙂
