But I have been writing. New stuff, not just editing old stuff. Don’t know how long it’ll last but for the time being, the muse is feeding me ideas, and if I’ve learned one thing, it’s that you don’t fuck with the muse.

Good to hear that you’re writing again. When I retire, I have 5 journals to look through; there should be something in there to inspire me.
A little over 700 words yesterday, and I have a good idea what’s going to happen today.
Nicest thing about this is I have a character in my head now. And she has a voice. Without that, no amount of plot or setting will get me writing . . . I know, because I’ve had that happen (plot, setting, but no character).
I’ve had a character in place and then went from there, but that didn’t work well in keeping the plot/seeting going for me.
Excellent. I need to get some writing done again soon, too.
