What leadership is all about

I’ll have more on our leadership conference, I promise. But for now, please enjoy two of the YouTube videos we watched today. (I thought about suggesting we all watch the baby scared by his mommy’s sneezes, but I had already made too much of a spectacle of myself.)

This one is a treat:

And this one, which our speaker claimed really happened (with the USS Enterprise):

enjoy!

That Enterprise story has been debunked many times. It ain’t true. Of course, speakers get irate when you point out that their anecdotes are bunk.

The first movie was funny, even though I haven’t a fucking clue what a ‘systole’ is other than that it is bad.

Say it ain’t so, Dean! The lighthouse story is too wonderful not to be true. It’s the stuff of great myth.

“Asystole” = a-systole = no systole = no heart contraction. The heart has stopped. And if the heart has stopped and the docs have decided chest compressions are no longer worthwhile, the code is officially over and the patient has passed.
