New theme
It’s called Thematic, from Themeshaper. I’d really like to customize it, but I have a kindergartner’s understanding of CSS.
I’m going to see if this old dog can learn new tricks. First, though, I need to locate the stylesheets.

Usually there’s just one stylesheet, unless they’ve broken it up or something.
But, whoa, is that header ever huge! Big black block, tiny little header text by comparison. 😉
Yeah, I don’t like the big black block, either. I keep playing with other themes and nothing really grabs me, not even this one. I’m tempted to buy a book on css.
Most WP themes have a bunch o’ stylesheets. I used to have a link to a website that taught CSS. I’ll see if I can find it.

Re Zen Garden: Wow — that Eric Stoltz theme, Under the Sea, is brilliant.
Yeah, the Zen Garden stuff is pretty incredible once you realize that each and every one of those themes is achieved solely through CSS. It’s all way, way beyond what I can do w/ CSS – more power to you if you learn how to do it 🙂
(I can’t for the life of me remember where I found the image I turned into the gravatar. It’s a raven with a mouse – pretty much since birth, our nickname for The Boy has been Mouse…)

Oh good! I figured out how to get rid of the goofy wavatars without losing your raven. Now I need to figure out how to upload an avatar.
