Pooties

Modern day kitty gets the mouse!, originally uploaded by tryingtolearn USA.

Nothing tonight, my pals. Karen and Jake are both under the weather, and I’m pretty wiped, myself. Not fair! I’m supposed to feel like this at the end of the week, not the beginning.

I want an orange kitty.

It’s the January blahs. My new job is sucking up a lot of energy.

It’s like we’re solar powered or something.

We had two marmalade cats, male named Ted and female named Little One (she was the runt of the litter and a very lithe creature) The only thing I noticed about them apart from other cats was they loved paper. They’d eat it, shred it, roll in it, steal it and line the closet with it. Paper of anykind had to be hidden and boxed away. The other cats we normal and only liked the odd paper bag to hide in.

We had an orange cat when we lived in the condo; I don’t know if you ever saw Tiger; he was a very pretty cat but a wanderer which is how he came to us in the first place. He ended up wandering off; we think someone stole him. Hope you guys feel better soon.

Our lab specimen is an orange kitty. My lab partners names him Garfield. I learned today that he was probably bred in Mexico specifically to be killed and used as a lab specimen.

Sorry. One of those days here, too.

I’ve known an orange cat (not the same one, obviously) for most of my life. We got Ginger, a shorthair, when I was 7. He lived 19 years, by which point I had my own house and had been adopted by Molly, a fabulous furball who waltzed through our back door one rainy October night and decided to stay. In the meantime, my parents replaced Ginger with Tigger – theoretically a purebred Himalayan, he’s bright orange all over, even his eyes. And Harry’s current nemesis is a big orange-and-white tom.

Ghost is buff colored tabby. Puufy orangey yellow long hair tabby, and Twitch is orange tabby.

with five cats, we have two or three too many, imho. Come. Take two. They’ll play.

But I ain’t giving up my Puufy! 😉

I regret posting tonight. It pushed the pooty down the page. I kinda liked him up there.

I wish I could say that.

I would be happy if my cat was just normal…

I found two marmalade cats for you, interrupted. It’s my guess anyways. http://tinyurl.com/24el9y
