Thank heavens we don’t have a dog (updated)

And no self-respecting cat would allow such liberties.

Ever see a flea and body lice do a cover of Violent Femmes “Gone Daddy Gone”? Here ’tis.

No, really. Watch it.

    that is insanely disturbing.
when i have kids, they’re not going on the computer until they’re like ten, i swear.

I love Gnarls Barkley. I love that they come out in costume for each performance. I love that they pay homage to the Violent Femmes.

I’m ignoring the poodle business. but a great ad.

The “Gone Daddy Gone” is brilliant. I love the Violent Femmes.

As far as the other video, I’m sorry but I laughed. The kid is SO enthusiastic. The sheep bleating on the computer is a sad attention grabber. The Learning Channel should be ashamed for the whole scenario. Now if it were Comedy Central, I could understand. They are tasteless at times and embrace the behavior but one expects more from The Learning Channel.

I wondered whether it really was a TLC commercial. Surely no one would have the (poor sense/suicidal career tendencies) to air the thing! But, yeah, I thought it was hilarious. And that poor poodle yelping at the ending fadeout. Oy.

I’m new to Gnarls Barkley, though — I’ll have to check out more of his (their?) stuff.
