We got together recently in San Francisco with her strapping husband and had a YUM meal at The Slanted Door.
Apologies to my other Bay Area readers . . . next time, I promise. My time was sorely limited.
More on my SF adventures tomorrow, featuring
The Mitchell Brothers theater! (Eh, don’t get your hopes up. I walked past.)
Fine Italian cuisine!
Feats of strength and daring!
Sweaty shirts!
And more . . . tomorrow. I’m exhausted.
D.
Well I’m jealous. Does your work ever bring you slightly East and slightly North, Doug?
…or about 5000 miles east and a smidgen north? 😉
Germany would be fun, Darla. Then I could hang with you and Gabriele.
Mo, depending upon how the next one or two elections go, I may be coming to Canada on a more permanent basis.
Dude.
Top Dog!
And if you’re in the area again for a longer visit, please let me take ytou to Dear Butcher’s store (twelve types of sausages he makes himself) in Alameda. OK?
Ok.
Glad you and Corn Dog (and spouses) had so much fun–The Ferry Building is a great destination.
Suisan, I made the Berkeley pilgrimage yesterday before my plane flight and bought 5 lbs of Top Dog’s Polish. I was kicking myself for not getting your phone # before the trip — next time, definitely.
Does Dear Butcher make a merguez sausage? Lordy, how I love that one. My absolute favorite.
Glad you’re home safe and sound. It was so much fun seeing you and having dinner. I have yet to get to a Top Dog.
