I followed Dean’s friend Graham back to Graham’s blog and discovered that I had missed International Talk Like William Shatner Day. The guy in the video, Maurice LaMarche, claims to be the third best Kirk impersonator. Naturally, I had to find out about the two “best” Kirk impersonators.

According to Wil Wheaton, it is William Fucking Shatner. So it should probably be renamed Talk Like William Fucking Shatner Day.

a whole day? I can see International Talk Like William Shatner Ten Minutes. More than that and there’d be blood on the floors. Oy.
You doing passover? Yay for the lamb and matzoh.
If I did Passover I’d be the only one. One of my great failures is, my kid doesn’t see himself as Jewish. He’s an atheist. He’s been an atheist since he was four or five. At least nowadays he doesn’t believe Harry Potter, magic, and the devil are real — so at least I’ve made some progress.
For those who are interested in VO work, Maurice is the voice of “The Brain” from Animaniacs & does a great Orson Wells as…er… well. 😉
